Key website goals were to focus on celebrating the city’s rich civil rights history while showcasing its diverse offerings beyond the past. The aesthetic should be vibrant and colorful, with playful, asymmetrical layouts, bringing an energetic feel to the site. The overall goal is to create an engaging, dynamic user experience that reflects Montgomery's history, excitement, and family-friendly atmosphere.

The Solution
My time exploring Montgomery, AL, left me more inspired than any other destination I encountered during my work travels. As a city with deep roots in U.S. history, particularly in the Civil Rights Movement, Montgomery offers experiences that are essential to truly understand its legacy.
To reflect the city's vibrant energy, I integrated the brand’s gradients throughout the site. To honor the history and progress of the civil rights movement, I incorporated textures, circular shapes, arrows, outlined text, and lines, symbolizing both the struggle and the forward momentum of the fight for equality.
